Being optimistic

So I figured if I made a post about what we might accomplish this weekend, it might get done. By making this post, we’ve already doubled the number of posts per month this year. (Next year maybe we’ll set a New Year’s Resolution of keeping the blog current!)

This is what I’d like to accomplish this weekend:

Prep the baking center cabinets for varnish
Get at least two coats of varnish on

As I write this all of these other things pop into my head (re-caulk the downstairs shower, pull out all of the trim and decide if we’re going to paint or varnish the trim, head into the garden and prep for some new plants, clean out the garden growing in the gutters…)

Seeing as I have some real “work” (or the work I get paid to do), and Atticus just started crawling forward today, I’m going to stick to a modest goal.

Maybe I’ll even make a post to let you know my progress. Then I’ll triple our number of posts!
