Progress
Things are changing quickly around here. Nick and his dad have gotten a lot done. The boiler is hung and now they’re completing the plumbing. The drains for the new half bath are installed on the first floor and the sub floor repaired. The beadboard is off of the front porch. The back corner of our house is gone and it’s been framed in as part of the kitchen. The back door is finished and ready to be hung and it’s framed. The sink and dishwasher were taken out this morning, and hopefully the sink will be temporarily installed soon. The items are getting crossed off our list quickly. The ones that are left will take longer to complete. I used the heat gun for the first time yesterday and it worked pretty well. Right now I’m going to put on the respirator and go out and see if I can get the paint off of the nook window so it can be re-installed in its new location. We’ll have more detailed posts and pictures later in the week- there’s not a lot of stopping around here, but the progress is good.

I actually see someone in the Project Cam right now. Looks like a man in a white long sleeve shirt and jeans.
PS: Your site never remembers me even though I check the “Remember Me?” check box.

Hi everyone! I think that was Kelly, one of the contractors for the boiler in the picture. The boiler looks pretty cool & I can’t wait to take a nice long bath once it’s installed. Greg- I don’t know why it doesn’t remember you- we’ll try to fix that!
