Quick Track is laid
It only took a few hours on Sunday (it’s “quick”) and now all of the Quick Track for the radiant floor is laid on the first floor. Trissa and I are both ecstatic that we have a relatively clean and solid floor to walk on again. I bet the cats are happy too.
Now we need to buy roughly 30 tubes of silicone caulk so we can glue in the PEX tubing… And, we need to figure out the flooring for the kitchen. Has anyone used / installed bamboo lately?

I haven’t installed any bamboo, but I’ve seen it in the store and it looks really nice. The price seems to be going down a bit too, I guess it had to eventually once the novelty wore off. I think it would look great!

I’ve heard bamboo is actually a grass, not wood. I’m not sure what difference that makes though. A guy I work with has it in his apartment, it looks good.
