Weekly Poll - April 24th, 2005

Here are the results of last week’s poll: nearly a quarter of us (23%) are funding our projects paycheck-to-paycheck, and nearly half of us (48%) are using a combination of savings and income. Five folks (16%) are using any and all means to get cash to sink into their house.

Trissa and I have been in the pay-as-you go category all along. Given the pace of our renovation this has worked quite well. But with the pending demolition of the first floor I’m starting to feel a bit apprehensive about the funds - this is going to be expensive! So this week I think I’m going to head down to the bank and see about a home equity loan.

For this week’s new poll I’m interested in hearing about your favorite home-related magazine. We all get them (don’t we?), and in my opinion they all have plusses and minuses. I think there’s a clear winner, but maybe not! Let me know if I missed any major titles…
