Fill the dumpster

That’s the name of the game for the weekend. I’m ready for the green monster to go to the dump. There’s a little bit of room left, so we now have to finish pulling up the floor in the kitchen. We’ve determined that we need to cut through the layers of the linoleum, subfloor and old fir. We can’t get the old glue from the first laminate floor off the fir flooring, so unfortunately it’s got to go. This also means less dust and since we don’t know what the old floor is made of, the less dust the better.

I’d get started tonight, but I’m staying at school to help chaperone a junior high dance…
