Midweek update
It’s Wednesday and I’m already pining for the weekend. Not enough seems to happen during the week; I come home all ready to work on SOMETHING, but then dinner happens, and a beer happens, then tiredness sets in. I did pull a bunch of siding off our back mud porch, which will be consumed by the new kitchen space (not to worry, the master plan shows a new mudroom addition to be built), but that’s about it. As I write this, the plan for tonight is to move more furniture upstairs, but again, that was last night’s plan.
Some of you may recall that our neighbor is moving. He started a new business flipping old houses, and his own is one of the first (apparently he has two or three in process right now) - it goes on the market this weekend. His house looks so good that ours looks pretty awful next to it. And now, as of yesterday, they’re beginning to do the landscaping. My only fear is a vine maple they bought that if planted in the wrong spot could affect our view.
No news yet on the loan. Hopefully today?

Yep, I know just how you feel. Weekday evenings always get consumed with silly stuff like relaxing. ;) Now that we’ve got this woodwork stripping going, it’s something that can be done in small increments … yay, something to do on weekdays!

Yes, I know that drill. Sometimes I like to look at it as getting rested up and ready to really kick some butt Saturday.
