Vancouver Friends

I’ve been home sick with a nasty cold, so I haven’t been able to post about our trip to Vancouver yet. Right around the same time we began our blog last year, another west coast blog joined Houseblogs. Last weekend we were able to travel up to Vancouver B.C. for a short vacation and met Deb and Derek of Kensington Bungalow. They are wonderful people and have two awesome kids. They were gracious enough to have us out for dinner so we could actually see all their progress in person. We had a fabulous dinner and really enjoyed meeting them, their two kids, Ella and Seth, and their neighbors. They have made quite a bit of progress, and the pictures of the downstairs are just a hint at how well the project is turning out. We hope we get to return the favor soon & have them over for dinner when they get a chance to come down to Seattle. Here’s a picture that Ella took for us. She did pretty good and didn’t cut off too much of our heads! Thanks Ella!
